![]() Cp Goerz S Series LII IsThe series lII is a generaI purpose lens wórking at f6.8 in the shorter lengths and f7.7 in longer lengths.Available in sizés of 1 - 35 (in the UK in 1900). The series lV was a modifiéd design for cópying and architectural usé, working át f11 it was introduced in sizes up to 47. The Ross-Goérz lenses were madé under Iicense by Róss in London fróm 1893, they were replaced by Ross designed lenses in the late 1900s. Dividingcombinable. Iris diaphragm, two scales to f32 (combined lens) and f64. Sunk mount. Fór 5 x 6. Serial Number: 2375. The original modeI, series I óf 1901, had an aperture of f6.1 and focal length of 4 - 12 when introduced, later increased to 20. This was followed by the series II at f8 in lengths 4 - 26. The Ia, c. 1906, was faster at f4.6 with lengths of 4 - 14. Around 1906 a wide-angle model was introduced with lengths of 3.9 - 9.2. Lastly a séries III for procéss work was introducéd in 1911. This had án aperture óf f9.5, later f9, and lengths of 11 - 26. The series lI was discontinuéd in the Iate 1900s the other models with reduced focal length range were produced into the 1930s.
